Que. What JAM?
Ans. JAM stands for Joint Admission Test for MSc at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Every year, admission to various MSc. And other post-BSc courses at IITs are offered through this entrance test, which is conducted on first Sunday of May.

Que. Who is eligible for JAM?
Ans. Any one having Bachelor's degree in the respective subject having 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PD) or anyone in the final year of Bachelor program expecting to satisfy this requirement by September of the applying year is eligible to appear in JAM. There is NO Age Restriction..

Que. What is the Cut-off score to clear JAM?
Ans. Cut-off score for admission in M.Sc. varies from one program to other and also from one year to other, depending upon the standard of the paper and relative performance of the aspirants. But, our experience tells that scoring 35-40% marks is generally sufficient to grab M.Sc. Physics at some of the IITs, though one need to score higher to get the desired IIT. .

Que. Is there any interview after qualifying the written exam of JAM ?
Ans. There is no interview. Admission in M.Sc. is offered only on the basis of performance in the written exam..
